Trainees undergo 400 days of on-the-job work experience, participating in a series of rotations that places trainees on the sets of various features and TV series under the supervision of DGA 2nd ADs, 1st ADs and UPMs. Trainees also attend a number of mandatory seminars on various aspects of the industry. After the successful completion of training, graduates are eligible to join the DGA as a Second Assistant Director. |
