The San Francisco Coordinating Committee presented the Modern Technology In Digital-TV Production Seminar, featuring the Kalypso™ Video Production Center, a digital switching system that offers powerful mix/effects capabilities.

The in-depth seminar was led by director Gary Schultz and took place at KGO-TV's Digital Studios in San Francisco.

Following a tour of KGO-TV's Digital Studios, Schultz and member Jerry Sandy led Bay Area members through a seminar that covered multicamera video vs. single-camera (film) techniques, analog live/tape production concepts, digital advances available with the Kalypso, and the future of production technology.
